I imagine my vision began before birth, but it truly took shape professionally in 1993 when I began to witness the world through the lens as an international freelance photojournalist. This transformative chapter culminated in 2010 with my award-winning book Latitude Zero, which chronicles my solo, three-year epic journey around the earth’s edge.

Enter Konrad, my vibrant son, who turned 10 in June 2020. The last decade was a whirlwind, yet deeply precious. Balancing my roles as a devoted wife, mother, and tireless visual artist based in Bangkok and Kinshasa, I endeavored to teach my son to slow down and appreciate life’s small joys while experimenting with different visual art mediums and exploring photography in new ways.

COVID-19 halted our world wanderlust journey, but my insatiable passion to create and grow mentally and spiritually remained steadfast
